Night Words: A Midrash on the Holocaust

This work, a liturgy on the Holocaust created for performance, is a compilation of selected liturgical, poetic, philosophical and biblical texts in Hebrew, Yiddish and English. <em>Night Words</em> requires 36 participants to take part in readings that last about 90 minutes, using writings from rabbinic, medieval, and modern literary sources to underscore the discussion, debate, and rage felt in attempting to understand the Shoah.
