Fletcher’s production tells the story of a fictional cabaret singer, Katarina Waldorf, who travels and performs around Europe, and later Israel, before the outbreak of World War II. A funny and brave performer, Katarina Waldorf flees Berlin to find places where Judaism and creativity can still thrive. Her story celebrates a community of almost forgotten artists.
