An opera in four scenes: The Father, The Mother, The Child, and The Messiah. Based on Hanoch Levin's play of the same name, it is the first operatic adaptation of Levin's work. Commissioned by the Israeli Opera to celebrate its 25th anniversary season, the premiere also marked the 10th anniversary of Hanoch Levin's death as well as the centennial of the founding of Tel Aviv. The opera was conducted by David Stern with set designs by Gottfried Helnwein.
