Set during the Reagan years, the play concerns a politically committed man named Aaron whose understanding of the world is rocked when his survivor father is threatened with deportation due to charges of what he did when he was a kapo in a labor camp. The play was named a <em>New York Times</em> "Critic's Choice" and won a playwriting prize from the American Theatre Critics Association.
